Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg meat (gyros)
- 1 cup of cream
- ¼ liter red wine
- 1 liter of water
- 2 cubes of broth, small cubes
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
- 2 small can/n mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup processed cheese with herbs
- 1 cup of crème fraîche or sour cream
- salt and pepper
- possibly sauce thickener
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Brown the meat in a large pot. Mix the remaining ingredients. Add everything to the gyro and cook over low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Finally, season with salt and pepper and thicken with a sauce thickener, if desired. Serve with baguette. It tastes even better if you let the soup sit for about a day.
