Habanero – minced meat sauce on yogurt noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 red chili pepper (Habanero pepper)
  • 1 chili pepper(s) (Habanero pepper) green
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp nutmeg, ground
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 handful of oregano, fresh
  • 1 handful of basil, fresh
  • 500 g pasta, corkscrew or other small pasta shapes
  • 5 tbsp yogurt 1.5%

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Turkish style

Peel the onion and garlic and finely dice. Deseed and finely chop the habanero peppers. Heat the oil in a pan, lightly fry the chopped onion, garlic, and habanero peppers with the nutmeg, then add the ground beef and continue frying. Once the ground beef is cooked through, add the pizza tomatoes, stir in the tomato paste, and season with salt. Finally, finely chop the oregano and basil, fold in, and let the meat sauce simmer gently for a few minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, drain, and fold the yogurt over the hot pasta. Arrange the yogurt pasta on a plate and place the habanero sauce on top.
