Ham and cheese rolls

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 15 rolls, halved
  • 400 g ham, cooked
  • 400 g ham, raw
  • 400 g medium-aged Gouda
  • 250 butter
  • 200 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the ham and cheese into cubes. Cream the butter until smooth. Stir in the ham and cheese cubes and enough cream to form a firm but spreadable mixture. Season with pepper, salt, paprika, and nutmeg. Spread the mixture on the roll halves. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes.
