Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (e.g. macaroni)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 g ham, diced
  • possibly herbs, e.g. chives
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 ml beef broth
  • possibly sambal oelek
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Ham noodles in the pan

First, cook the noodles. Meanwhile, heat a large pan or wok with vegetable oil. Since the bell peppers take the longest to cook, add them first. After about 3 minutes, add the finely chopped (or half-sliced) onions and continue to fry until lightly roasted. Then add the ham. After another 2 minutes, add the cooked noodles. Then deglaze with the beef broth and let it simmer slightly. Season to taste (salt, pepper, sambal oelek, herbs). Once everything has thickened slightly, turn off the heat and crack the 3 eggs over the hot noodles, stirring with a wooden spoon.
