Ham slices with Parmesan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 2 eggs, size M, separated
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • 65 g flour
  • 3 tbsp ham, cooked, diced
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Cream the butter until fluffy. Stir in the egg yolks and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the cream and flour. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in loosely. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the batter about 1 centimeter thick. Sprinkle evenly with the ham cubes and Parmesan cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool, cut into diamond shapes, and add to the hot broth just before serving.
