Hamburger with yogurt dressing

Hamburger frikadellen are not made with egg or breadcrumbs, etc.! The ground beef is simply seasoned with a little salt and pepper. Some “professionals” don’t even season the meat at all, as the sauces are sufficient. However, the salt and pepper enhance the natural flavor of the ground beef. The meat is portioned into 4 pieces, each piece should be as flat as possible and roughly the same diameter as the bread roll. The frikadellen are fried in a hot pan with a little oil. The frying time should not exceed 2 minutes on each side to prevent the meat from drying out. After turning, the Cheshire cheese slices are placed on the meat so they can melt slightly. During frying, the onions can be cut into rings and the tomato sliced. The lettuce only needs to be briefly washed and the leaves removed. The bread rolls are cut open and lightly toasted. Spread the bottom half with mustard, place a lettuce leaf on top, top the frikadellen with the cheese straight from the pan, and then a slice of tomato and a few onion rings. Now add plenty of yogurt dressing and the top half of the bun. Press down a little, and you’ve got a hamburger à la royal! Instead of tomatoes, onions, and yogurt dressing, just use pickle slices and ketchup, and you’ve got a delicious cheeseburger.
