Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 10 slice(s) toast bread (butter toast bread)
- 5 bratwurst, raw
- 5 slices of cooked ham
- 10 slices of pineapple
- 10 slices of cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
with sausage meat
First, I preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). I cut the ham in half. If you like, you can leave the slices whole, but then you will need double the amount. Now I start toasting the bread. As soon as two slices are done, I spread half the sausage meat on each one. Then I put half a slice of ham, a slice of pineapple, and a slice of cheese on top. While I put the filling on each slice, I toast the next two slices. Once I have filled all the slices, I place them on a rack lined with baking paper and put them in the oven for about 12-15 minutes. During this time, the cheese turns nice and brown and the sausage meat is cooked through but still nice and moist.
