Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section (roll)
  • 1 package of ham (toast ham)
  • 1 package of processed cheese (toast cheese)
  • 1 can pineapple pieces
  • marjoram
  • Thyme
  • basil
  • 1 egg(s) or butter for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a nice alternative to Hawaiian toast

Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place a layer of toasted ham in the center. Then add a layer of cheese and pineapple. Layer the cheese and ham on top of the pineapple. Then roll the puff pastry into a strudel and brush with butter or egg. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, until the strudel is crispy and golden brown.
