made from hawthorn berries

Remove the blossoms and stems from the ripe hawthorn berries (or more than that), and the rosehips, and wash them. Soak them overnight and then place them in a wide-mouthed infusion bottle/container. Then pour over the alcohol and add the washed and dried mint leaves and stems. Pour in the brown sugar. Let everything stand on the windowsill for about 6-8 weeks, shaking frequently to dissolve the sugar. Now strain everything and bottle it accordingly.
