Hazelnut casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g hazelnuts, grated
  • ⅛ liter whipped cream
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 pinch of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the hazelnuts with the sugar, cream, cornstarch, and baking powder. Then add the egg yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in lightly with a whisk. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the casserole mixture into the dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (350°F) for about 25 minutes. Serve with a wine foam sauce.
