Hazelnut Macaroons Renate

Ingredients for 40 servings:

  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 40 hazelnuts, whole
  • 125 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the ground hazelnuts with the flour. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the hazelnut flour and knead into a dough. Place small macarons on a greased baking sheet using two teaspoons. Press a hazelnut into the center of each macaron. Bake the macarons in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 8 minutes until light brown.
