Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 140 g butter, soft
- 100 g sugar
- 5 egg yolks
- 10 g baking powder
- 50 g cornstarch
- 100 g flour
- 125 ml cream
- 5 egg whites
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g hazelnuts, ground
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 150 g chocolate, dark
- 1 tbsp, heaped Nutella
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Cream the softened butter with the sugar. Beat in the egg yolks one at a time, then stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder and cornstarch with the cream. Spread the batter into a prepared 30 x 20 cm pan. For the topping, beat the egg whites until stiff, beat vigorously with the sugar and stir in the hazelnuts. Spread the topping over the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for approx. 25-30 minutes, covering the cake with aluminum foil after about 10 minutes. For the glaze, soften the chocolate in a hot water bath, then mix well with the oil and Nutella. Spread the chocolate glaze on the cooled cake.
