Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 150 g flour
- 100 g hazelnuts, ground
- 100 g cake icing (hazelnut)
- 50 g chocolate flakes

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Christmas cookies
Knead the butter or margarine with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolk, flour, and grated hazelnuts into a shortcrust pastry. Chill for half an hour, then roll out, not too thinly. Cut out stars and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C until golden brown and allow to cool. Cover the stars with the melted hazelnut glaze and sprinkle one half with chocolate flakes.
