Leek with potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 cups leeks, frozen
  • 1 cup potatoes, boiled
  • ½ cup(s) milk
  • ¾ tbsp broth, instant powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • pepper
  • possibly salt
  • Allspice d’Espelette
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Leek “mixed up”

Bring the milk to a boil and season with broth, pepper, Espelette pepper, and nutmeg. Add the leek, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 10 minutes (do not boil). Add the potatoes and mash. Season to taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. I usually serve this with meatloaf or meatballs.
