Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g hazelnuts or almonds
  • 5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • ½ tsp Bourbon vanilla flavor
  • 6 tbsp rice syrup or powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 38 minutes

without milk, chocolate-nut cream, vegan, makes 2 glasses

Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) top/bottom heat. Place the nuts or almonds on a baking sheet and roast for about 8 minutes. Be careful, watch carefully towards the end, as the nuts can quickly turn black. Alternatively, toast the nuts thoroughly in a pan. Place the roasted nuts in a food processor and grind to a fine paste. Add all the other ingredients and blend. The amounts for oil, cocoa, and especially sugar are guidelines; you can, of course, adjust them to your taste. Pour the chocolate-nut spread into prepared, clean, lidded jars and store in the refrigerator. This yields approximately 2 jars.
