Heart-shaped Buttercream Cake

The perfect heart-shaped buttercream cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Sponge cake for a heart-shaped one from my KB
  • 750 g Milk
  • 1,5 packet Custard powder
  • 1,5 packet German quality butter
  • 150 gr Sugar
  1. Make a pudding from the milk, sugar and pudding powder. Let it cool down and be careful not to pull any skin.
  1. Bring the butter to room temperature with the pudding (also room temperature) and stir into a buttercream. Cut the sponge cake 3 times horizontally and fill with the cream.
  1. Form roses and leaves from the Maripan and decorate with them.
