Hearty Cupcakes

The perfect hearty cupcakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Curd
  • 6 tbsp Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 50 g Ham
  • 50 g Grated cheese
  • 50 g Diced onion
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Fry the diced onion and chopped ham in a little oil. Not too dark. Salt and pepper. If desired, add a little caraway. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius. Mix the curd cheese with milk until smooth. Mix in the egg. Stir in the cheese and the ham and onion mixture. Meanwhile mix the flour and baking powder. Pour over the curd mixture and stir in briefly. Not too much otherwise the cupcakes will not go all the way up when baking. Prepare molds. Silicone molds work best – they don’t need greasing or dusting. Fill the dough halfway into the molds. Bake for about 20-25 minutes (until golden brown). Remove from the mold and let it cool for a short time. Ideal for this: a herb pot, cream cheese, any spread that you can then sprinkle or spread onto the cupcake like a frosting. You can also stir in dried tomatoes / olives / Parmesan instead of the ham / cheese / onion – also very tasty. Enjoy!!!!
