Hearty Pearl Barley Pot

The perfect hearty pearl barley pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Barley pearl barley, or ebly, is a bit coarser!
  • 1 Red Diced paprika
  • 1 Diced onion
  • 100 g Diced zucchini
  • 100 g Corn, canned food
  • 100 g Kidney beans, canned
  • 200 g Mushroom heads, canned food
  • 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
  • 2 Toes Chopped garlic
  • 150 g Debreziner / spicy in wheels / approx. 5 pieces.
  • Seasoned Salt
  • Garlic pepper
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • Chili powder
  • Oil
  • And OF COURSE I forgot something again! 😀
  • 1 Handful Dried tomatoes in strips
  1. Prepare pearl barley or Ebly according to the instructions on the package!
  2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onion cubes until golden! Then add peppers and zucchini and sizzle with them. Season with salt and pepper! Fry for 5 minutes!
  3. Then drain the corn, kidney beans and mushrooms and add them too. Add chopped tomatoes with garlic and sun-dried tomatoes and stir well! Steam briefly!
  4. Add the depreziner and season to taste with herbal salt, garip pepper, salt and pepper! FOR ME IT WOULD BE HOT ENOUGH THROUGH THE SAUSAGE BUT MY FRIEND NEED MORE! 😀 So also chili powder! Who likes of course! Our chili powder comes directly from India! My friend was on Mondays! 🙂
