Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g flour
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 500 g butter, no margarine
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Recipe from a baker, makes about 100 pieces

Make a smooth dough from the first three ingredients. Then divide the dough into 1/3 and 2/3. Knead the small piece with the tablespoon of cocoa powder. Then process as for black and white cookies. Shape the dough into a log and place it in the refrigerator. Once firm, brush it with egg yolk and roll it in regular white sugar. Then cut into slices (0.4-0.5 cm thick) and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the cookies at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on them; if they start to brown slightly around the edges, remove them immediately.
