Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 fish fillets
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 4 tbsp mustard
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 onions
  • 6 gherkins
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Clean the fish fillets, season with lemon juice, and season. Peel and dice the onions and also dice the gherkins. Place half of the fish fillets side by side in a greased baking dish, then brush the fillets with tomato paste and mustard. Distribute half of the diced onions and gherkins over the fish. Place the remaining fish fillets on top, brush the fillets with mustard and tomato paste again, and scatter the remaining diced onions and gherkins over the fish. Then scatter the breadcrumbs over the vegetables. Bake the casserole in the oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Serve with potatoes.
