Herbal Butter with Paprika, Basil and Chili Peppers
The perfect herbal butter with paprika, basil and chili peppers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Soft butter
- 40 leaf Fresh basil
- 2 small Hot peppers
- 2 teaspoon Paprika powder
- Coarse salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Chop the fresh basil.
- Cut the peppers in half and remove the seeds. Then cut them into small pieces.
- Now mix all the ingredients together.
- I always portion my amounts as needed and then put them on a piece of cling film. There I roll it into my desired thickness and close it on both sides by twisting it. Then just put them in the fridge or freezer.
Tips
- Depending on how much power you want the butter to have, you can use paprika as sweet or hot. You can also vary the degree of spiciness of the peppers.
Suggestions for use:
- Let the butter melt over a corn cob.
- Also goes well with boiled baby potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes or butternut squash.
- Mix with a few spring onions into the mashed potatoes.
