Herring Salad with Egg and Curry

The perfect herring salad with egg and curry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 8 Herring fillet
  • 1 Fresh onion
  • 3 Hard-Boiled eggs
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Curry
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 pinch Cayenne powder
  1. Drain the herring fillet and cut into pieces. Peel the onion, cut in half and cut into fine slices. Boil the eggs hard, peel them and cut them into slices. Season the sour cream with sugar or honey, curry, salt, pepper and cayenne. Carefully fold the sauce into the herring fillet and egg slices. Cover and chill the lettuce and let it steep for 24 hours. Enjoy your meal!
