Hidden potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 m.-sized potatoes
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 g Gouda, grated
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch of curry
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Boil the unpeeled potatoes in salted water until tender. Meanwhile, dice the ham. Mix it with the egg, cream cheese, grated cheese, milk, oil, and seasoning in a bowl until smooth. Add half a bunch of chopped chives to the mixture and fold in. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan). Peel the potatoes, slice them, and arrange them in a baking dish. Pour the cheese and ham mixture over them and bake for 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining chopped chives over the casserole before serving.
