Hofer Art Cooked Cheese
The perfect hofer art cooked cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Margarine
- 200 g Harzer cheese
- 63 g Processed cheese double cream setting
- 1 teaspoon Food atron
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
- 500 g Lowfat quark
- In a tall saucepan, melt the margarine over low heat. Chop the cheese, throw in and dissolve while stirring constantly. Bring the whole thing to a boil, then take it off the stove and stir in the baking soda. Now season with salt and caraway seeds, fold in the quark and reheat while stirring. Just before cooking, take the saucepan off the stove and immediately transfer it to a bowl that has been rinsed with cold water. Stir every now and then as it cools so that the caraway does not settle on the bottom and a skin cannot form.
