Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 ml milk
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 75 g dark chocolate coating
  • 25 g milk chocolate coating
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • ½ tsp cardamom
  • 1 pinch of chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Roughly chop the chocolate. Combine the cream, milk, and vanilla sugar in a saucepan, stir, and bring to a boil briefly. Remove the pan from the heat, add the chopped chocolate, and let it melt. Blend briefly to avoid lumps. Make sure to incorporate as little air as possible to avoid bubbles. For an oriental version, add the spices and stir. Use the sauce either warm straight away, refrigerate, or store in an airtight container.
