Homemade Croquettes

The perfect homemade croquettes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Potatoes
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 2 Protein
  • 2 Pepper
  • 2 Nutmeg
  • 1 Pc. Soft butter
  • 1 Pc. Cornstarch
  • 1 Pc. Breadcrumbs
  • Fat for deep-frying
  1. Peel the potatoes and boil them in plenty of salted water. Drain the water, add a little butter, pepper, nutmeg, cornstarch and two egg yolks and mash to the puree. Let something cool down.
  2. Beat the egg white in one plate, add some breadcrumbs to another plate, shape the puree into croquettes with your hands, turn first in the egg white then in the breadcrumbs and put aside.
  3. 3 .. Bake in the deep fryer at 175 degrees until light brown and serve
