delicious as a gin and tonic

Wash the lime and lemon in hot water and peel the zest into thin strips, removing as little of the white pith as possible. Slice the ginger. Roast the juniper berries, coriander seeds, cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon in a dry pan until the spices begin to smell, then let cool. Empty half of the contents of the tea bag into a tea strainer and seal. Place the citrus peel, ginger, spices, herbs, and vodka in a screw-top jar and let it steep for 12 hours in a cool, dark place. Pour the gin through a sieve lined with cheesecloth and bottle. This gin is delicious as a gin and tonic. Pour 4 cl of gin into a cocktail glass with ice cubes. Add a slice of orange peel and top up with tonic water.
