Homemade nut nougat cream (Nutella)

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g margarine, semi-skimmed (40%)
  • 45 g honey, viscous
  • 35 g oil (sunflower oil or nut oil)
  • 45 g icing sugar, or regular sugar
  • 15 g vanilla sugar, or regular sugar
  • 90 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 40 g cocoa powder, dark
  • 10 g cornstarch (e.g. cornstarch)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

is very close to the original Nutella

Blend the margarine, honey, oil, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until smooth. Mix the remaining ingredients and then add them to the mixture. Mix everything well. Gently heat the cream in the microwave (or in a saucepan, but it burns easily) until the sugar crystals have dissolved and the cream is liquid (but still thick) enough to be filled into jars. Store in the refrigerator. Makes approx. 400g (1 large or 2 small jars). The result will be slightly darker than the original. But very tasty, Nutella for adults, so to speak. Tip: You can make the cream sweeter and lighter by using milk powder (instead of starch and some of the cocoa). If you prefer a lighter version, you can replace most of the sugar with a sweetener that corresponds to the sweetness.
