Homemade vanilla pudding

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml whole milk, fresh (3.5% or 3.8% fat)
  • 100 ml cream, fresh
  • 50 g sugar
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), including the pulp

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

In a separate bowl, combine some milk with the sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla seeds until the mixture is smooth enough to pour. Bring the remaining milk to a boil and remove from the heat. Slowly add the prepared mixture, stirring constantly.
