Honey mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 tbsp mustard, medium hot or sweeter
  • 1 tbsp honey (preferably bee honey)
  • 3 tbsp yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • some ginger, freshly grated or powdered
  • ½ clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar bianco or fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or other good oil
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

The best dressing in the world (goes with almost everything)

Combine all ingredients except the olive oil in a jam jar or other container with a sealable lid and shake well until everything—especially the honey and mustard—is well blended. Then add the olive oil and shake well again. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Tip: You can also refine the sauce with white wine or fresh herbs such as chives, marjoram, or mint. The sauce is incredibly versatile and a hit with any salad, as well as with flatbread, salmon, or savory pastries.
