Honey Smacks Schnitzel

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pork schnitzel (ham schnitzel)
  • 25 g cornflakes (honey smacks)
  • some flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Salt
  • black pepper, freshly ground
  • Fat for the pan

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Crush the Smacks in a freezer bag with a rolling pin or a glass jar and place them in a large bowl. Spread the flour on a large plate. Whisk the egg in a bowl. Heat the fat in a pan over medium heat. Season the schnitzel generously with salt and pepper, coat it in the flour, dip it in the beaten egg, and then coat it well in the Smacks on both sides. Fry the schnitzel in the hot pan on both sides. Arrange the finished schnitzel on a plate with your choice of side dishes, garnish, and serve. I served it with asparagus and potato cheesecake; you can find it in my recipes.
