Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 kg honeydew melon(s)
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- 150 g sugar
- 200 ml water
- ½ tsp flavoring (orange)
- 1 shot of orange liqueur
- 350 ml mineral water
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Make a simple syrup from 150 g of sugar and 200 ml of water. Puree the honeydew melon flesh and pour over the simple syrup and lemon juice. Let stand for 30 minutes. Strain through a sieve, add mineral water, and refine with flavoring and liqueur. Serve with ice cubes, if desired.
