HOT BANANA – SPLIT with melted marshmallows and vanilla ice cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 bananas
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100 g marshmallow(s), white
  • 50 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 8 scoops of ice cream, vanilla
  • some chocolate sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

…incredibly delicious – be careful, it’s addictive!

Peel the bananas, halve them lengthwise, place them in a greased baking dish, and drizzle with lemon juice. Roughly chop the marshmallows and sprinkle them over the bananas. Sprinkle the hazelnuts over the marshmallows and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) on the lowest rack using top and bottom heat for 10 minutes. Turn off the oven and let stand for another 3 minutes. The marshmallows should be melted. Divide the bananas among 4 dessert bowls. Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to each and drizzle with the chocolate sauce. Please try it; it’s soooo delicious, I promise!
