Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 ml milk
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 40 g cocoa powder, (approx. 2 tbsp)
  • 70 g sugar (approx. 3 tbsp)
  • 80 g semi-sweet chocolate coating
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto
  • possibly cream, whipped
  • possibly cinnamon powder, chocolate powder, vanilla powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Halve the chili pepper lengthwise and deseed it. Bring 500 ml of milk to a boil with the cinnamon sticks and chili pepper. Blend the cocoa with the remaining 100 ml of milk and the sugar until smooth, then stir into the milk. Chop the chocolate coating, add it, and melt it. Season with Amaretto to taste. Strain through a sieve and divide between 4 cups. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate powder, cinnamon powder, or vanilla powder, and enjoy hot.
