Hot cocoa with coconut milk

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 ml milk (whole milk), fresh
  • 300 ml coconut milk (can)
  • 3 tsp cocoa powder, slightly defatted
  • 3 tsp cane sugar (raw cane sugar)
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinch(s) cinnamon
  • 2 pinch(s) chili powder
  • 2 tbsp cream, whipped
  • e.g. chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the milk and coconut milk in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Be careful not to burn. Then stir in the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and chili powder. Pour the hot cocoa into large mugs and serve garnished with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Serves two large mugs.
