Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 4 cl whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp pudding powder, vanilla
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 20 g butter
  • rum
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g raspberries, fresh or frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Vanilla cream with raspberries

Bring 2 tablespoons of milk to a boil with the sugar and butter. Whisk 3 tablespoons of milk with the egg yolk, vanilla sugar, and pudding powder. Stir into the boiling milk with a whisk until thickened. Then let cool slightly. Mix the cream with the whipped cream (reserve a little for garnishing). Ladle the cream into dessert bowls, top with hot raspberries, and garnish with the remaining whipped cream. A dash of rum can also be added to the cream, if desired.
