Hot Peppers, Chili Peppers and Jalapenos

The perfect hot peppers, chili peppers and jalapenos recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Peppers, chili peppers and jalapenos from our own harvest
  • 650 ml Water
  • 350 ml White balsamic vinegar
  • 150 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 piece Bay leaves
  • 15 piece Cloves
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 300 g Sugar fine
  1. Wash the peppers, chili peppers and jalapenos and cut off the stem. If you don’t make it so spicy, cut it lengthways and remove the seeds and white membranes.
  2. Now bring the water with the vinegar, oil and the spices to a boil. Let it boil really well once.
  3. Now the prepared pods are added. Let the whole thing boil again for 5 minutes.
  4. With a slotted spoon we now get the pods out of the brew and put them in the jar that has been rinsed hot.
  5. Bring the whole brew to the boil again and pour over the pods.
  6. Close flap, monkey dead and head again.
  7. You can already enjoy it after 2-3 weeks. But you can also let them stand longer. Maybe it’s your best friend’s birthday soon?
