Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 apple
  • 2 gherkins
  • n. B. cucumber juice
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 1 tbsp herbs (dill, parsley, chives)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel and core the apple, peel the onion, drain the pickle, and cut everything into small cubes. Mix the mayonnaise with the yogurt and adjust the consistency with the pickle juice. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir in the herbs thoroughly. Serve this homemade sauce with herring fillets, potatoes, or as a dip for vegetables or fish.
