Hugo Cake

The perfect hugo cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Ladyfingers
  • 125 g Butter
  • 3 packet Cream cheese 175 g
  • 300 g Yogurt
  • 3 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 packet Gelatin powder white
  • 150 ml Prosecco
  • 75 ml Elderflower syrup
  1. Completely crumble the spoon biscuits. Melt the butter, mix with the crumbs and press into a springform pan lined with baking paper. Mix the cream cheese, yogurt and lime juice.
  2. Let the gelatine soak in Prosecco for 10 minutes. Add elderflower syrup and heat everything while stirring until the gelatin has dissolved. Stir quickly into the cream cheese cream.
  3. Pour the cream into the springform pan and refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours.
