Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml beef stock
  • 400 ml water
  • 100 g bacon
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • some salt and pepper
  • 200 ml white wine
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • some butter
  • little cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Finely chop the bacon, onion, and mushrooms and fry in oil. Add the tomato paste and deglaze with white wine, beef stock, and water. Next, add the spices and reduce the sauce until about 400 ml of water has evaporated. Finally, season with salt and pepper. To thicken, add cornstarch and a little butter to the sauce and purée briefly with an immersion blender.
