Children’s dish, delicious

Peel the hunting or ham sausage and cut into slices about 1 cm thick. I always buy the 1 kg sausage and get about 20 slices out of it. Crack the eggs and place them on a plate, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika. You can also use schnitzel seasoning here. Also place the breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip the slices in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs so they develop a nice crust all over. Heat oil in a pan and fry the breaded sausage slices until crispy. Serve with mashed potatoes with a hunter’s sauce and Bianca’s buttered vegetables. If I have leftover hunter’s schnitzel, I can freeze them in portions and fry them up quickly. They can also be frozen uncooked.
