Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 1 liter peanut oil
  • 1 tsp salt (sea salt and sweet paprika), mixed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Pre-fry in batches at approximately 140 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly. Just before serving, fry again at 170 degrees Celsius until golden brown. This also creates the puffy potato slices. Season with salt. You can also choose any other flavor, such as rosemary salt.
