Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300g penne
- 300 g potatoes, peeled, roughly diced
- salt water
- 300 g diced tomatoes
- 200 g bratwurst, Italian (Salsiccia), pressed out of the skin
- 100 g Italian cheese (Caciocavallo), diced
- 2 onions, diced
- some basil, fresh
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Parmesan
- n. B. water, possibly
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Pasta and potato casserole
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta and potatoes for 10 minutes. Then drain. Meanwhile, heat the oil and sauté the onions. Then add the sausage and fry lightly. Add the tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes. Add a little more water if necessary. Mix the pasta and potatoes with the sauce and cheese, pour into a greased dish, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 200°C for about 15 minutes.
