Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 50 g tomatoes, dried in oil
  • 70 g olives, black, pitted, finely chopped
  • 1 package of Italian herbs, frozen
  • 1 bread roll, soaked
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp, grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • Thyme, fresh or dried
  • Basil, fresh or dried
  • Oregano, fresh or dried
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Finger food for the buffet

Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven) or 200°C (conventional oven). Finely dice the sun-dried tomatoes and chop the olives. Mix well with the ground beef, Italian herbs, bread roll, egg, and Parmesan cheese. Season to taste with thyme, basil, oregano, pepper, and salt. If the mixture is too thick, add another egg. With moistened hands, form walnut-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for approximately 13-15 minutes. Makes approximately 70 meatballs. The meatballs can be served hot or cold and are easy to freeze.
