Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg spinach, fresh (alternatively 1 point frozen spinach)
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • 50 g butter or liquid vegetable cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 ml milk or cream
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • n. B. Butter, cut into flakes
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean the spinach, place it in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Then drain. Dice the cooked ham. Heat the butter or vegetable cream and sauté the ham in it, stirring constantly. Season with salt, pepper, and a crushed garlic clove. Whisk the eggs with the milk or cream and pour over the mixture. Roughly chop the cooked and drained spinach, add it, stir briefly, and pour the mixture into a well-buttered casserole dish. Mix the grated Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs, sprinkle over the dish, and dot the casserole with butter. Place in the preheated oven and bake at 220°C for about 20 minutes.
