Italian strawberry mascarpone cream

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 150 g biscuits (amaretti biscuits)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Hull and wash the strawberries, then puree 250g of them. Mix the mascarpone with the quark and powdered sugar. Slice the remaining strawberries. Layer the strawberries, mascarpone cream, half of the amaretti biscuits (do not crush them), strawberry puree, mascarpone cream, strawberries, and the other half of the amaretti biscuits (crumb them first). Chill and consume within 2 hours.
