Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g margarine
  • 2 medium-sized onions, cut into small pieces
  • 2 m.-large zucchini, cut into small strips (julienne)
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes, also cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp, heaped basil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roast the onion in fat until golden brown. Add the vegetables, sauté until the juices have released, then season and simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes. This dish goes well with fish, meat, and poultry.
