Japanese chicken breast with fresh spring onions

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast
  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp miso paste
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil, neutral

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

Japanese everyday cuisine

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Then add the pieces to a pan with oil and fry on all sides. Put two teaspoons of miso paste into a small bowl, add the mayonnaise, and stir in. Slice the spring onions into small rings and add them as well. Mix everything together to form a thick sauce. Add the cooked chicken breast pieces to a pan and marinate them in the sauce. If necessary, heat briefly if the chicken breast pieces have cooled too much. Serve warm.
