  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 slices of toast or 1 stale roll
  • Garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Meatballs, minced meatballs

Soak the bread or roll in warm water. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and parsley. Squeeze the excess moisture from the bread. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. First, form the dough into balls and then flatten them. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs for about 8 minutes on each side. The meatballs keep wonderfully warm in the oven at 100°C while you prepare the side dishes, etc., and they stay nice and moist. They also taste great cold as a party snack.
