Juicy Apple and Marzipan Cake

  • 160 g Soft butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck Vanilla sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 220 g Flour
  • 10 g Baking powder
  • 10 g Milk
  • 125 g Marzipan
  • 2 size Apples
  • 2 size Fat
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Sugar
  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees, grease the baking pan, peel the apples and cut into wedges. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Then add salt, flour and baking powder to the egg mixture. Add some milk and keep stirring. Tear the marzipan into “shreds” and fold into the dough. Pour the dough into the greased springform pan, smooth it out, place apple wedges on top and press down a little. Now sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and put in the oven for about 55 minutes.
  2. Depending on your taste, you can sprinkle the cake with flaked almonds before baking.
